Free Tickets For Bon Jovi Concert In Central Park

(June 30) New York City’s Mayor Bloomberg announced at a press conference that Major League Baseball and sponsor Bank of America will host a free Bon Jovi concert on July 12th at 8 p.m. in conjunction with the 79th All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium.

The concert will be held at New York’s famous Central Park.

In spite of a limited number of available free tickets, Bloomberg hopes that this will be the largest concert in the park’s history.  60,000 fans will get to attend the event.  

A number of tickets will be available on MLB.com while others will be distributed at various locations on July 2nd, beginning at 9 a.m.

The concert will mark the final leg of Bon Jovi’s Lost Highway World Tour, which has a few more stops before hitting the Big Apple for the pre-All Star Game concert.
