Bryan Adams To Open For Foreigner and Rod Stewart
(June 30) Bryan Adams continues his promoting streak with plans to open for Foreigner and Rod Stewart this summer.
Adams is a seasoned rock musician, best known for his albums “Reckless,” “18 til I Die,” and “Waking Up the Neighbors.” He has been nominated for his songwriting in films three times by the Academy Awards. Adams also sang the theme song for Fox TV series “Stacked” and worked on various film soundtracks including the hit movies “The Guardian” and “Bobby.”
In May Adams joined the top 6 male contestants of American Idol for the show’s season finale. The performance coincided with the release of “11.”
“11” is Adams’ eleventh studio album. The album features a compilation of completely original material but includes soundtracks. Adams toured around Europe on his “11 Days, 11 Cities” Tour to promote the album.
Last month, the Canadian rocker performed preview material from “11” across the states. The album topped at No. 1 in Canada and ranked No. 7 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart.
