(June 27) Country artist Sara Evans will kick off her summer tour with a first performance this weekend.

Evans is an American country music singer and songwriter who is one of few traditional-styled Nashville singers of the 1990s.  She has had four No. 1 country hits and three Platinum- certified albums by the RIAA.  

A few weeks after marrying former University of Alabama quarterback, Jay Barker, Evans is ready to hit the road.

The upcoming tour will promote Evans’ recent “Greatest Hits Album” which opened at No. 8 on The Billboard 200 and ranked No. 3 on the Top Country Albums Chart.  

The tour begins this Saturday, June 28th, at Krouskop Park/ Star Spangled Celebration in Richland Center, WI.  The final performance is scheduled to take place on September 27th at the Elk Creek Winery in Owentown, KY.
