Oasis To Make Summer Stage Appearance
(June 25) Oasis has settled on a short summer tour schedule with only one performance in the U.S. and eight performances in Canada.
Oasis first banned together in Manchester in 1991. Since then, Oasis has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has had eight UK number one singles.
The brief summer tour will promote the band’s first single, “The Shock Of The Lightning” from their upcoming album, “Dig Out Your Soul.” “Dig Out Your Soul” will be the Oasis’s first album from their Big Brother label worldwide. The album’s expected release date is October 7th.
The nine-date tour will feature special guest, American alt-country/ rock-singer, Ryan Adams, at each of the performances. The tour begins at the WaMu Theater in Seattle, WA, on August 26th. The tour concludes with a final performance at the John LaBatt Centre in London, ONT, on September 9th.
