(June 24) If you can’t make the concert, John Mayer offers the next best thing, a full Mayer Concert on demand.

Mayer will release his “Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles,” a recording of his December 2007 concert in Los Angeles, only two days before setting off for his summer tour.  “Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles” will be available for public viewing at theaters across the country.  Fans can sit back and relax while watching Mayer live and eating a bag of buttery popcorn.

The film opens in theaters on June 30th and will be available for purchase on July 1st.  The Columbia Records release will also feature Mayer’s hits and his versions of rock and blues favorites including Tom Petty’s “Free Falling,” Ray Charles’ “I Don’t Need No Doctor,” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Wait Until Tomorrow.”

A day after the release, Mayer begins his Summer Tour which begins in Milwaukee on July 2nd and ends in West Palm Beach on August 31st.
