(June 20) Canadian twins Tegan and Sara have officially announced an upcoming U.S. tour this fall.

The sisters from Calgary, Alberta first gained the interest of the public eye after having won the Garage Warz Battle of the Bands in 1998.  Since then, Tegan and Sara have toured with Neil Young, Weezer, Iron On, Bryan Adams, Ryan Adams, the Killers and many other artists.  With the upcoming tour, the twins will promote their current Vapor/ Sire album, “The Con.”

The tour kicks off on September 20th at the San Diego Street Scene Festival in San Diego, CA.  As of now, the final performance is scheduled to take place at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, CA on October 19th.  

An online ticket presale through Music Today begins this Monday, June 21st.  Tickets for purchase by the general public go on sale on June 23rd.
