(June 20) The Indigo Girls summer tour ends this July, but Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have announced a 20-date extension.

This American folk rock duo won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Recording in 1990 and were also nominated for Best New Artist.  Their albums have continued to rank highly on both the U.S. and U.K. top album charts.

Ray and Saliers summer and fall tours will continue to promote their album, “Despite Our Differences,” which was released in 2006.

The fall tour begins September 11th in Spartanburg, SC and will continue through to October 5th with a performance in Joliet, IL.  Additional dates may be added.
