(June 19) The Irish Saw Doctors plan to continue their succession of performances from the UK to the U.S.

This folk-rock band from west Ireland has had over 20 years of success and holds the record for Ireland’s biggest selling single of all time, “I Useta Lover.”  The Saw Doctors just received the 2008 Meteor Irish Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.  

After playing at various UK Festivals and European clubs, The Saw Doctors have decided to cross the Atlantic to the satisfaction of their American fans.  The Irish rockers have made over 55 trips to the U.S. and continue to maintain a strong fan base in the states.

The U.S. tour begins on August 7th in Lowell, MA, at the Summer Music Festival.  Their final performances is set for August 24th in Buffalo, NY, at, of course, the Irish Festival.
